The Northcare Sports Injuries and Rehabilitation Centre was established in 1991 in Adelaide’s northern suburbs at 192 Park Terrace Salisbury, South Australia.
The purpose-built centre includes a hydrotherapy pool facility, rehabilitation gymnasium, and physio exercise studio in conjunction with a large physiotherapy clinic.
Northcare Physio senior physiotherapists have an extensive amount of professional experience, and are dedicated to maintaining our reputation as a leader in the field of physiotherapy.
Northcare Physio’s core business revolves around four areas:

The gym

The combined use of hydraulic equipment, pin loaded machines, endurance equipment and floor exercises allow for the rehabilitation of injuries as well as conditioning and work hardening. Specialist rehabilitation equipment is also available for patients undergoing post-operative exercise programs, or specific remedial training. The gym is ReturnToWorkSA accredited, and every rehabilitation program is individually supervised by accredited Exercise Physiologists and Physiotherapists. For the very best results, individualised programs are designed to suit specific needs and regularly reviewed.
The pool

Northcare has its own purpose-built hydrotherapy pool. Maintained at a soothing 34° Celsius, the pool is ideal for the rehabilitation of injuries. Hydrotherapy management may include musculoskeletal, neurological conditions, compensable and private claims. The pool has a hammock lift to assist persons with disability enter and exit the pool. The onsite pool is ReturnToWorkSA accredited, and every rehabilitation program is individually supervised by accredited Exercise Physiologists and Physiotherapists. For the very best results, individualised programs are designed to suit specific needs and regularly reviewed.

Both male and female change rooms have multiple shower facilities, toilets, and change areas. There is a separate wheelchair accessible toilet and shower.
